"Gender Revolution" Film + Panel Discussions
Want to learn more about how your organization can be affirming of all its members, including those who may identify as transgender, gender expansive, non-binary, or intersex? We host a "Gender Revolution" film and panel discussion, which has been incredibly well-attend and popular, especially among faith organizations. After a one-hour showing of Katie Couric and National Geographic's 2017 film, "Gender Revolution," we turn to a panel of trans and intersex advocates and educators, as well as parents of trans and/or intersex youth, who share their stories and engage in a Q&A with attendees.
Tabling @ Events
We want to be part of your next event! OCEC tables, provides education, and shares resources at social justice and equality events all around Orange County. Recent events have included OC Pride, Trans Pride, The Great American Write In, and Transgender Day of Remembrance.
Speaking + Education
Our Board Members are passionate about educating our community about how to continue working toward justice and equality in Orange County! We have spoken at Harvey Milk Day, the Democratic Party of OC, School Board Meetings, UCI Law School, Youth Groups Meetings, Women's History Month Rally, and many other exciting events.
"Raising Trans + Gender Expansive Children" Panels:
Another new panel OCEC just sponsored is the "Raising Trans + Gender Expansive Children" Panel, which was a big hit! The panel included Trans 101 and parents sharing their own emotional journeys.
